2025 Fall Ball

All rules will follow Minors (RRYB Rules) except what is below.  This is a kid pitch league. 

1. Age levels: 3rd-5th grade students. Need not be part of the Rock Ridge school district for Fall Ball.

2. The season will run from August 26th - September. Two practices will start the season. There will be a maximum of 6 games but what that schedule looks like depends on the number of teams. All practices/games will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays.

3. No baseball on Labor Day.

4. We will utilize coach pitch for the entire season on ball 4. No walks.

5. Pitchers may throw a max of 2 innings per game and 4 per week. We want to develop pitching during fall ball.

6. Players should be able to try multiple positions. This is a developmental league.

7. If a team has less than 9 players and the opponent has 10 or more, the team short a player should pick up a kid from the opponent or from another team. Only fall ball registrants are allowed to play. No automatic outs if the team has less than 9.

8. No makeup games if there are weather related cancellations.

9. No playoffs.

10. No protesting/arguing! This is supposed to be a fun developmental league.

11. All parents are expected to cover at least 1 shift in the concession stand. If nobody signs up for a concession stand shift, it will not be open.

12.  If you are playing tackle football in Rock Ridge, the schedules will most likely not align and allow you to do both.  Players were able to make flag football and fall ball work last year.
